Backstory: Sheldon Hawkes worked as an ER doctor before becoming a Medical Examiner after losing 2 patients on the table.



Work style:

What drives Dr. Hawkes?
After doing everything he could, a patient died in his arms during surgery. Hawkes decided to leave the hospital scene to become an ME (and later a CSI) and help those who've already died by bringing their killer to justice.
